Cost Control Specialist
We have an opportunity for a Cost Control Specialist to join us at Honeywell in Warsaw, PL. This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

Key responsibilities
Monitoring and analyzing costs on the projectCooperating with Project Director and Project Managers to help them meet budgeting goalsPreparing financial reports and presenting information to key stakeholdersDeveloping and adjusting budgets, tracking current cost and deviationsManaging additional works (budgets) from the financial point of view Researching to find opportunities to reduce expensesVisiting and monitoring retail outlets to assess wastage and efficiencyImplementing accounting software and automating cost control systemsCalculating the variance between the budgeting plan and realityInvestigating unprofitable variances and lossesDeveloping cost-efficient solutions to implement changesCollaboration with department managers to identify cost-saving opportunitiesRecommend on the weekly basis measures to reduce expenses or accelerate revenueCrucial Requirements/competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related fieldPerfect understanding of financial, costs structures and budgeting modelsExperience in cost control related to construction projects (at least 3 years)Deep knowledge of effective cost tracking methods (incl. cost accounting, margin improvement) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities,Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially ExcelThorough understanding of accounting principles and budgeting proceduresAbility to work with multiple spreadsheets/calculations/customers in parallelEnglish at least B1 (preferable B2)Our offer
