+ As a Cost Estimating Intern, you will be assigned to work on a specific task of updating our cost & quantity database and assist other cost estimators in the execution of their project estimating work.
+ These tasks will involve learning and developing deeper understanding of both design and commercial parameters of most common equipment and components used in power plants and industrial facility systems.
+ Working under the direction of senior estimators, this position will offer you the opportunity to utilize and expand your academic background in Mechanical Engineering and utilize practical application of mechanical engineering principles.

Essential skills and experience:
+ Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program with a strong academic background and coursework in mechanical systems (preferred graduation date by Winter 2025 or Spring 2026).
+ Good verbal and written communication skills along with strong PC skills are required.
Valued but not required skills and experience:
+ Prior, related internship or co-op experience is preferred.
+ Experience and/or coursework in power systems, renewable energy, battery energy storage, or in the power industry.
