The Opportunity:
KBR is seeking an experienced Cost Estimation Specialist / Modeller to support a Defence project.
This is a full-time fixed term position for six (6) months, based in Canberra. Interstate applicants may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
This position will require an active AGSVA NV1 clearance on commencement and the successful candidate must be willing to upgrade to an NV2.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain cost models to support tender development and evaluation.Conduct financial analysis of bid responses to assess cost-effectiveness and compliance.Provide expert advice on pricing strategies, financial risk assessments, and cost estimations.Collaborate with commercial and engineering teams to ensure financial considerations align with project requirements.Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for stakeholders.Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
Proven experience in cost modelling, financial analysis, or pricing strategy within the Defence sector.Strong understanding of Defence procurement financial evaluation processes.Proficiency in financial modelling tools and data analysis techniques.Ability to interpret complex financial and contractual data to support decision-making.An active NV1 security clearance (essential).If you’re ready to shape tomorrow, let’s get started.
