We are a great company. **Cost Estimator – Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)** We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented **Cost Estimator** to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cost estimation for engineering and construction projects, particularly in public airport work. This full-time role offers a hybrid schedule: telework on Monday and Friday, onsite Tuesday-Thursday. **Responsibilities:** + Review proposals, scopes, labor rates, and material pricing to ensure alignment with contract specifications. + Prepare detailed cost estimates based on engineering drawings and historical data. + Collaborate with project teams and third-party estimators to reconcile estimates. + Track changes in estimates and communicate them clearly. + Provide guidance and training to junior estimators when needed. + Ensure timely and accurate submission of cost estimates and reports. **Requirements:** + 10+ years of estimating experience in engineering and construction, with a focus on public airport projects (preferred). + Proficiency with estimating software (On-Screen Takeoff, MC2), industry databases (RS Means), and Microsoft Office Suite. + Strong experience with cost estimation formats (Uniformat II) and change order processing. + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred). + Certified Estimating Professional credentials, PMP, or PE preferred. **Compensation:** $87k-184k The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law.
