Cost Management Intern

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop an understanding of project deliverables in provision of Cost & Commercial management services,Maintain Cost & Commercial Management files in an organized manner, according to company standards and process. Assist as needed with preparing documents for proposals, presentations, and Cost & Commercial Management submissions under the direct supervision of the Cost & Commercial Management team. Submit requests for pricing from vendors and sub-contractors for specific scopes, products, and services. Carry out pricing research. Develop understanding of methods of measurement, delivery methods, construction technology and contracts. Enroll in professional organization and commence training for accreditation.Other duties as assigned.Attendance at work during normal business hours.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Education: Currently enrolled in a degree in Construction, CM, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field

Experience: No prior experience required

Preferred Certification: Registration with Professional organizations (AACE, RICS, ASPE, or equivalent)
