We are seeking a skilled Cost Manager with a strong background in life science construction projects to join our growing team. You will play a key role in managing project budgets, cost reporting, estimate reviews, and financial controls across large-scale capital projects in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and advanced manufacturing sectors.

Manage project budgets from concept through closeoutConduct cost estimate reviews, reconciliations, and value engineering exercisesTrack and forecast committed and actual costs against budgetPrepare and maintain detailed cost reports and dashboardsSupport procurement, bid leveling, and contract cost analysisReview and manage change orders, invoices, and payment applicationsProvide risk and trend analysis related to cost impactsCollaborate with project teams, vendors, and clients to drive financial performance

 

The Skills, Knowledge and Abilities We Seek

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field5+ years of experience in construction cost managementProven experience on life science or pharmaceutical projects (CDMO, biotech, cGMP facilities, etc.)Strong understanding of cost controls, capital planning, and project lifecyclesProficiency with Excel and cost systems (e.g., Unifier, Procore, or Prism)Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems is a plusExcellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills

 

The pay range for this role is $100,000 to $160,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
