Job Title: Cost Optimization Sr. Analyst
Department: Payments and Financial Services
Reports To: Mark Steelmon
Location: Tempe or Columbus

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Cost Optimization Sr. Analyst to join our Payments and Financial Services team. In this role, you will develop and lead financial processes to identify, categorize, and analyze potential cost optimization initiatives. You will represent the Payments and Financial Services team in cross-functional groups to drive these initiatives to completion and support the organization’s financial efficiency goals.

Primary Responsibilities

Identify Cost Optimization Opportunities: Lead collaboration with the Payments and Financial Services team members to identify, assess, and prioritize potential cost-saving initiatives across our payment and Financial Services functions.Analysis & Documentation: Lead the analysis of identified cost optimization initiatives, and ensure all necessary documentation is completed for initiatives to be formally approved and moved forward.Solution Development: Promote the development of solutions to address any challenges related to resource allocation or funding required to implement initiatives.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Generate PowerPoint slides, and the narrative to support the slides, to represent the Payments and Financial Services team in monthly Fit-To-Serve Steering Committee reviews, providing updates on progress and outcomes of cost optimization initiatives.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead and own Budgeting discussions regarding FTS cost optimization initiatives.

Secondary Responsibilities

Project Tracking & Reporting: Maintain an up-to-date record of all ongoing initiatives within Payments and Financial Services. Track project progress and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of cost-saving measures.ARC Reporting: Own the ARC reporting process for project tracking, ensuring accurate data input and status updates across projects.Monthly Reporting: Present status updates and quantify savings from initiatives in a clear and concise manner during monthly reviews with Payments and Financial Services team.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (preferred).Experience (preferred):Experience in analyticsExperience with payment processing is a plus.

Required Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to manage data, documentation, and presentations.Strong Analytical & Math Skills: Ability to analyze complex data, calculate cost savings, and present insights.Excellent Organizational Skills: Ability to track multiple projects, initiatives, and deadlines efficiently.Presentation Skills: Comfort and confidence in presenting data and updates to internal stakeholders, including leadership teams.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Power BI: Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting is a plus.Experience with ARC Reporting: Prior experience using ARC for project tracking is highly preferred.
