Cost Program Leader

Directs, guides, and aligns the activities of programs consisting of multiple and interdependent projects executed by transforming and performing organizations and/or staff, to contribute to the program’s delivery of its intended benefits and the organization’s strategy.
**Your role:**
+ Initiate and implement cost programs and business transformations aligned with category and business strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, procurement, manufacturing, service) to optimize product cost and value propositions.
+ Develop expertise in service business and technical challenges to mitigate costs of non-quality. Lead cross-functional workshops, DfX initiatives, PRIDE problem-solving sessions, and root cause analyses for cost reduction solutions.
+ Define program goals, scope, and deliverables while balancing schedule, budget, and risks. Coordinate program activities, monitor business cases, and integrate project outcomes to achieve intended benefits.
+ Develop analytics, create presentations, and update SteerCo on progress. Work with Finance to accurately capture cost reductions in financial systems, ensuring alignment with P&L and product-level metrics.
+ Availability to travel locally 10%
**You're the right fit if:**
+ Engineering graduate (preferred MBA).
+ 10+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain, including leading DfX, Lean Convention, PRIDE, and problem-solving initiatives.
+ Deep understanding of service, warranties, and collaboration with global teams, supplier engineering, and suppliers to drive cost reduction and mitigate CoNQ.
+ Strong program management abilities, entrepreneurial mindset, ownership, and high influencing skills coupled with emotional intelligence. Demonstrates Philips Leadership Behaviors, business acumen, and high positive energy to effectively navigate complex environments.

**How we work together**
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

**Philips Transparency Details**
The pay range for this position in Bothell, Cambridge and San Diego is $148,000 to $226,000
The pay range for this position in Pittsburgh and Reedsville is $133,000 to $202,000
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
