Costing Analyst, Operational Costing

**ABOUT THE ROLE:**
**The Costing Analyst, Operational Costing of Global Product Costing (GPC) will** **support the operational costing function** **for apparel or footwear and equipment, in the newly formed Product Costing organization at VF Corporation. Located at [TBD – Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala] the Costing Analyst, Operational Costing for [TBD – APP, FTW/EQ] is responsible for supporting the execution of operational costing activities that support certain Apparel or Footwear and Equipment brands and products across** **VF’s portfolio of brands** **. This professional will support** **cost sheet management and governance** **, as well as** **validation** **of cost sheet inputs provided by vendors. Further, this individual will** **support adherence to brand and product costing calendars** **. This individual will support cost roll-ups and other reporting required by key stakeholders. This individual will play an important role in** **supporting operational costing process optimization and execution** **. This individual will partner closely with other functions in the Costing Organization.**
**RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE** **:**
Include but not limited to
+ **Data Management:** Execute sending and receiving cost sheets from vendors as well as perform review and validation of cost sheet inputs for accuracy and reasonability
+ **Governance:** Support timely communication of costing information to key stakeholders
+ **Negotiation:** Support costing negotiations with Vendors by **providing timely and relevant insights** to primary negotiations team
+ **Team** : Coach and mentor more junior associates on the operational costing team
+ **Process Improvements:** Support improvements in productivity and efficiency through **eliminating** redundancies and **optimizing** processes for maximum value.
+ **Standardization:** Support process adherence across all brands and regions to leverage one-VF scale and operating procedures across the enterprise.
+ **Travel** : Minimal travel required
