**DESCRIPTION**
We are looking for a talented **Costing Manager** to join our team specializing in **Finance** for our **Europe Finance Department** in **Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom.**
**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways** :
+ Ownership of all end-to-end costing activities for DBU Europe, including maintenance of standard and actual costing, material variance analysis, BOM reviews and investigations into low margin products.
+ Financial Costing Modelling: Analyse, evaluate, and develop costing models to support financial appraisals for strategic decision-making and identify opportunities and risks.
+ Business Partnering: Collaborate with business teams to provide key insights into relevant costing areas.
+ Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with key stakeholders in sales, supply chain, and item master teams to review bills of material (BOM) and support pricing decisions.
+ ERP Implementation Support: Provide key support for costing in the implementation of a new ERP system, ensuring smooth transitions and accurate financial data integration.
+ Month end activities including J/E's, material variance analysis and support to operational teams.

+ Expertise in Financial Analysis: Interpret financial data by analyzing trends, variances, opportunities, and risks. Provide insights to stakeholders regarding financial impacts, ensure data integrity, and take corrective actions to resolve issues.
+ Competence in Financial Reporting: Analyze financial data to support business decisions, prepare and present financial information, and ensure compliance with regulations. Communicate effectively to drive financial performance aligned with organizational goals.
+ Manage ambiguity - Operating effectively, even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear.
+ Manage complexity - Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education/ Experience:**
+ College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required. Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification required.
+ Significant experience required, including some costing experience.
