The Costpoint Business Analyst, Principal, will be a functional Costpoint SME to help provide insights on how to better leverage Costpoint for strategic decision-making and operational improvements. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong skills in the functionality of Costpoint and a deep understanding of business processes and reporting.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality analysis and recommendations.Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs, gather requirements, and define project objectives.Develop and implement best practices for business analysis, including methodologies, tools, and processes.Improve processes and reports including but not limited to invoicing backup and contractual deliverables.Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data analysis and reporting.Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of business analysis processes.Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the business analysis team.Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.A minimum of 5 years experience using Deltek CostpointExperience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Government Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledge of Government Contracting regulations and standardsThis position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-sitePreferred Qualifications:
