**Overview** **Position:** Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA **Location:** Shawnee, OK (Pottawatomie County Schools) **Schedule:** Part-time, 2-3 days/week during school hours. **Compensation:** $29.00-$32.00/hour (pending experience) Our outpatient pediatric center in Shawnee, OK is seeking a licensed COTA to provide quality patient care. This is a school-based position 2-3 days per week. Previous pediatric occupational therapy/school-based therapy is preferred. **Responsibilities** + **Detail-Oriented:** Observe, note and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals and ensure proper documentation of patient care. + **Education:** Teach patients new ways of approaching tasks and how to break down activities into achievable components. + **High Standard of Care:** Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/procedures and applicable regulations and corporate policies + **Personalized Treatment:** Under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist, optimize patients’ functional abilities and skills. **Qualifications** + Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program + State COTA license (or license eligible) + CPR certification + Valid state driver’s license **Additional Data** _Select Medical is committed to having a workforce that reflects diversity at all levels and is an equal-opportunity employer.
