Are you an experienced bilingual mental health professional with four years of direct care experience who has been preparing to take the next step in your career? If so, consider joining us as a Bilingual Counselor, where you will assist in delivering family-centered services by collaborating with team members and participating in the planning and implementation of Wraparound care strategies.

As a Bilingual Counselor for our Wraparound services, you will provide culturally responsive support while leading a collaborative planning process for youth and families referred through Child Welfare, Juvenile Probation, or County Behavioral Health departments. Your services will be delivered primarily in community settings—families' homes, foster homes, schools, and other locations—supporting youth at risk of out-of-home placement or transitioning from higher levels of care.

In this role, you will document progress, conduct functional behavioral assessments, and engage in team meetings to ensure effective communication and support. You’ll have the opportunity to deepen your understanding of community resources while building a sustainable network of unpaid supports, such as extended family and mentors, to foster stability for the youth and their families.

WHAT ARE WRAPAROUND SERVICES?

Seneca offers Wraparound services for children and youth at risk of placement, as well as their families. These programs are strengths-based, family-driven, flexible, and creative, aiming to help families develop the skills and supports needed to prevent or reduce the likelihood of out-of-home placement for their child. A dedicated family-based team addresses the needs of the entire family, not just the child of focus. This team includes family members, Seneca's Therapists, Support Counselors, Family Partners, Facilitators, and other community members who play vital roles in the family’s support network.
