We are currently seeking a Detox/Withdrawal Management Counselor to join our amazing team of behavioral healthcare professionals in facilitating individual therapy, group therapy and group based psycho-education . Here at York, our Detox/Withdrawal Management Counselors:

provide elite-level care to adults seeking treatment by evaluating behavioral, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and social needs provide personalized treatment plans specific to individual needs Facilitate all clinical services for clients including individual and family sessions, therapeutic groups, and referral source/ outpatient provider contact. provide detailed and personalized aftercare planning and community outreach resources/referrals Other duties as assigned

Education, Experience:

1) A Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in Human Services or another related field

2) A Bachelor’s Degree with the same educational requirements and 1 year of clinical experience.

3) An Associate’s Degree with the same educational requirements and 2 years of clinical experience.

4) Full certification as an addictions counselor by a statewide certification body, which is a member of a National certification body or certification by another state government’s substance abuse counseling certification board.
