We are currently seeking a Counselor Lead to collaborate with our amazing team of behavioral healthcare professionals and guide our clients in their recovery journey. Deliverables/Principal Results Expected:
Responsible for providing leadership and support to counselors and tech staff. Co-facilitating group therapy, carrying a limited caseload as deemed necessary. Communicating with referral sources and company representatives regularly to strengthen relationships and address concerns/problems. Performs regular audits for the maintenance of client files through audits Collaborates with nursing staff for medication management and client medical needs Facilitates and attends weekly treatment team meetings. As needed, conducts insurance reviews and assessments. Responsible for intake process with new clients into program. Participates in on-call duties for the facility to assist line staff with client behavioral and emotional needs. Oversees Family Programming including but not limited to the facilitation of psycho-educational programming. Other duties as assigned.Education/Licensure/Experience:
A Master’s Degree in a human services or related field. A Bachelor’s Degree in a human services or related field and 1 year of clinical experience. An Associate’s Degree in a human services or related field and 2 years of clinical experience. Full certification as an addictions counselor by a statewide certification body, which is a member of a National certification body or certification by another state government’s substance abuse counseling certification board.Total Rewards:
