WE LOVE OUR WORK. In the absence of Count Room Manager or Assistant Shift Manager, responsible for the direct supervision of soft count staff  Responsible for providing guidance and daily supervision to staff in the Count department as needed and instructed by the Count Room Manager or CR Assistant Shift Manager. Supports and administers operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.  Adheres to schedule issued by count room manager and communicates any deviations effectively. Effectively follows all guidelines set forth in established Internal Controls  Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.    Ensures soft currency is accounted for and recorded in accordance with company policies and procedures  Manually count large amounts of currency  Reviews and compiles reports generated by Soft Count  Ensures company assets are properly accounted for and secured  Accounts for all table games documentation  Oversees the maintenance of machinery used in count room operations  Operates a currency counting machine  Ability to function with secured access for ingress/egress to count room  Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.  Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.   BRING US YOUR BEST. Associate’s degree (A.A.) or Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent experience.  One year preferred experience in count operations or similar functions.   Ability to communicate with internal and/or external guests    Ability to read and comprehend company policy and procedures manuals, as well as departmental correspondence  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guest and Team Members  Ability to write correspondence such as departmental incident reports    Ability to read, write, comprehend and speak English  Ability to understand and perform duties in accordance with:  Departmental, property and company policies and standards  State Gaming Board requirements  Sarbanes-Oxley  Internal Controls  Ability to stand for extended periods of time.   STAY IN THE GAME.
