Counter Intelligence Screening/Lead
Overview ***This position is physically located in Qatar in support of LOGCAP*** The Counterintelligence Screening Team Lead is responsible for the oversight of enrollment and screening of Locally Employed Personnel (LEP), the Lead will ensure daily schedules are prepared, monitor training requirements, be responsible for daily activities and reports. Additionally the Lead will conduct enrollments and CI screenings as necessary. The CIST Lead will be responsible for monitoring screening results, making final determinations if questionable results from screening arise, providing guidance and direction to non-supervisory personnel regarding CI screenings and referrals, and general supervisory tasks. Responsibilities This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. Granting of installation access badges to include enrolling all Locally Employed Persons (LEPs) in the Biometric Automated Toolset (BAT) or other associated enrollment systems and conducting LEP/CI screenings. Maintains a local CI database of all Other Country Nationals (OCNs) screened, which will be populated in the Biometric Automated Toolset (BAT) or other associated enrollment systems database. Conducts CI screenings of LEPs upon occurrence of CI indicators during the screening process. Coordinates with local CI Detachment, in order to effectively support CI operations. Walk-in reports identified by supervisory personnel to have CI value will be referred to local CI Detachment. Responsible for daily office management and scheduling of personnel, reports to the CST Team Supervisor. Records data and updated relative databases and/or reports. Receives and relays pertinent communication. Prepares schedules to ensure proper coverage for all shifts. Performs other duties or assignments as required. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) High School diploma required, AA or BA/BS preferred. Be familiar with CI indicators and reporting procedures, to include proper format and procedures of DIIRs and IIRs. Preferred at least 5 year experience conducting CI/HUMINT operations or LEP screening with preference to the Middle East US Government school-trained CI Agent (35M, 0211, or AFSC series 7S) or NCIS agent preferred Must have demonstrated experience with MS Office Suite and Biometrics Automated Toolset or other associated enrollment systems Must have a valid stateside driver’s license with at least one year before expiration Must have a valid US passport with a minimum of 5 blank pages Experience: Preferred minimum of five (5) years operational experience as US Government school-trained CI Agents or HUMINT Collectors (MOS 35L/35M/0211, AFSC series 7S, NCIS Agent or other Intelligence MOS) preferred Must be familiar with CI indicators and reporting procedures, to include proper format and procedures of DIIRs and IIRs, as well as demonstrated past leadership experience in related fields (i.e. Officer/NCO in the US Military, Chief or lead on previous similar assignments, etc.). Must have a Final Active Secret Clearance. Deployed Southwest Asia (SWA) experience preferred. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervision of small teams 5-10 personnel Skills: Must have excellent oral and written skills. Must have ability to lead a a team. Working Conditions: Work is generally conducted in an in area with a mild exposure to extreme climatic conditions. Working in a military environment brings the potential for exposure to physical, chemical or biological agents. Employee use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas, but not on a daily basis. Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, vision and hearing protective devices. Must comply with OSHA, EPA, and Fire Regulations and published company work rules. Physical Requirements: Physical requirements include lifting, climbing, extended sitting or standing, or other physical efforts that are normally required. In addition, visual acuity, hearing and speaking requirements would be considered. Physical Requirements: Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
