One of the largest wholesale distributors of LP gas, industrial fittings, and plumbing products currently has a great opportunity for a Counter Lead Associate for their South Boston location. This is a Direct Hire opportunity!

\r\n\r\n

In this role, you will supervise the day-to-day operations of the counter team, including:
\r\n --Customer service and handling customer needs and requests
\r\n --Condition of Merchandising, and replenishment of inventory.
\r\n --Neatness and cleanliness of counter and store.
\r\n --Handle and process credit returns and restock products.
\r\n --Promote events and set up and arrange promotions and advertising.
\r\n --Assessing and delegating workload to the team.

\r\n\r\n

Other responsibilities:
\r\n• Greet customers and create a positive FW Webb experience with every interaction
\r\n• Assist customers with checking inventory and placing orders
\r\n• Pull, check, and pack products for customers
\r\n• Facilitate transfers between other FW Webb locations
\r\n• Check on parts, pricing, and availability from outside vendors
\r\n• Process returns, debit memos, and warranties
\r\n• Face, fill, and restock shelves
\r\n• Effectively multitask in a fast-paced work environment

\r\n\r\n

Qualifications:
\r\n• Previous counter experience preferred.
\r\n• Experience leading a small team to mentor, coach and delegate for the day.
\r\n• Experience working in a hardware store-type box retailer preferred.
\r\n• Effective verbal, written, and computer skills are required.
\r\n• Must be customer service-focused and quality oriented.

Work Schedule:
\r\nMonday – Friday
\r\nFlexible start time between 6:00 AM -7:00 AM 8-hour shift.
\r\nAvailable to work rotating Saturdays (every 4-6 weeks)
\r\n
\r\nHourly pay:
\r\n$24.00- $30.00 - Depending on experience
\r\n
