We are currently seeking talented individuals for our Counter Sales Representative position!

Here is some of what you’ll do…

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Store Manager, the Counter Sales Representative is responsible for interacting with retail & wholesale auto parts customers to identify their needs, have excellent selling skills, and strengthen the overall relationship between Carquest Pacific LLC and the customer.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Takes orders from customers over the phone and in person. Customer orders should be processed with a high degree of accuracyUses the Exploris computer system for invoicing and catalog lookup of auto partsActively logs all lost sales in the Exploris system.Assists in processing Weblink electronic ordersMaintains strong product knowledge of auto parts, warranties, promotions, and sales programsOperates, at all times, within company guidelines, policies, and proceduresStocks inventory and assists in housekeeping of the store and property. Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.At least two (2) years of experience with automotive parts required.Excellent communication skills and proper business etiquette required.A good working knowledge of aftermarket parts transactional system required.Must be dependable and punctual.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Walking: Moves about on foot often up and down stairsHandling: Seizes, helps, or works with handsLifting: Raises or lowers miscellaneous automotive parts, tools, and batteriesReaching: Extends hands and arms in any directionStooping: Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waistStanding: Remains in standing position if required to perform various functions of the jobVision: Reads paperwork and records on the computerTalking: Communicates by phone and in personLifting: Up to 60 lbs. daily, frequent exertion.

 

ENVIRONMENTAL:         

Noise: Works in conditions with constant or intermittent noiseTemp/Weather: Works in an office environment with occasional shop requirements.
