\nAs Head of Solutions Designs at DHL.
\n\nTo be the country senior management in specific solutions design skills and sector-specific skills/ tools\nTo lead and mentor the assigned Solutions Design team members on specific skills/ project needs.\nTo lead/ support the Solutions Design workstream in the pursuit of new business/ renewal of existing.\nProvision of solutions/ analytical support for implementation/ re-engineering needs for key/ strategic projects as assigned.\nTo establish optimal costing/ commercialization for New/ Existing business\nLead in solution improvement engagements and strategic customer interfaces as assigned.\nLiaise at the appropriate level to ensure customer retention, development and growth of new business\nAct as “focal point” for escalations with regards to assigned project covering solution design issues in country/ cluster\nDrive innovation and best fit solution to meet customer's supply chain needs and challenges\nCollect & analyze data; design, develop, model and evaluate optimal logistics operating solutions for customers\nProvide Industrial Engineering expertise, techniques and methodologies/structure to direct the DSC operation team in improving service, processes, productivity and profitability\nKey implementation team member to ensure clarity of solutions to operations and project team; support the alignment/ re-alignment of the solution parameters and commercials with the customer.\nRequirements\n+5 years’ experience in supply chain business model analysis, warehouse operation, facility design and costing/budget evaluation, preferable in Logistics business of which at least 2 years’ experience in Logistics Solution Design\nMust be conversant and have experience in warehousing, transportation, and broader supply chain topics to develop operationally feasible solutions.\nMust have exposure to (and preferably subject matter expertise in) some of the following topics: storage medium, material handling equipment, space analysis, manpower analysis, inventory/SKU analysis, operational key performance indicators, continuous improvement initiatives, transportation methods, packaging, secondary operations, costing and automation.\nMust be an advanced user of tools such as Microsoft Excel and/or Access, Power BI to perform complex data analysis.\nExperience in at least one modelling/simulation/CAD tool, AutoCAD or CLASS is desirable.\nShould have experience with process flow diagrams, time studies, methods/work study and/or other performance analysis methodologies.\nShould be proficient in PowerPoint and have experience with customer presentations and strong communication skills.\nCommercially wise, Customer centric, Conscientious, Flexible & Innovative, Reliable Team Player\nResult Driven, Persistent, Energizing, and Self-starter\nProven ability to manage and develop relationships negotiate at all levels of management in a customer organization.\n
