Country HR Head & Senior Sector HRBP (Tokyo)

We are looking for an experienced HR leader. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for driving HR initiatives across all the business in Japan.

 

Key Accountabilities: 

Has a strong relationship with

Global & Regional Sector HR for the leading sector

Country Speaker, CFO & CAO and Country Council

Respective business leader

GSO (Global Solution Owners) and GES (Global Enterprise Solutions)

As the Country HR Head, the role is responsible for

HR representation at Country Council

Cross-country HR alignment

Team and people management (HRBPs and admin staff are direct reports)

Drive High Impact Culture and DE&I initiatives

Local, cross-sector deployment of GSO solutions

Local HR policy development and maintenance

Labor and Employee Relations

HR Compliance

As the Senior Sector HRBP, the role is responsible for

Providing input to the Sector’s people strategy

Executing the Sectors’ people strategy in alignment with local sector strategy

 

Role Requirements:

+8 yeas of professional experience as HR Leader in an international context, manufacturing industry is ideal

Understanding of and Practical experience in General HR Management

Hands-on experience in leading and developing people

Broad and In-depth knowledge of all HR related topics

Extensive experience as HR business partner

Strong project management and change management skills

Experience in using HR systems processes and tools

Ability and willingness to work on international HR projects

Ability of strategic thinking

High emotional intelligence and empathy

Excellent presentation and communication skills

Proficiency in both spoken and written Japanese and English
