This role is a leadership role to Brown-Forman (B-F) Emerging Asia Leadership team. As a Leadership Team member, it must partner closely with the General Manager and cross-functional marketing, finance, and HR leaders to steward the organization culture, drive a unified purpose across the organization, and achieve results.


Meaningful Work From Day One
This role oversees commercial strategy, distributor and wholesaler management, key accounts, and operations in the Philippines and Guam, ensuring the execution of B-F's plans. It formulates and guides B-F commercial strategies and priorities, champions continuous improvement, growth and capabilities, and ensures the execution of our plans.
This role is responsible for developing team members and fostering an inclusive organization built on integrity, teamwork, and respect. It requires building strong relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders, networking, developing commercial policies, and negotiating agreements. This position holds P&L responsibility and demands hands-on market involvement to drive growth and portfolio development.

The location of this role is Makati City.

What You Can Expect


Leadership
● Provide leadership input to drive the company’s strategic direction, route-to-market, business and portfolio strategies, and special projects as necessary.
● Develop the country plans and strategies, identifying growth channels and opportunities, step change and lead growth momentum to achieve goals and objectives.
● Manage the P&L and ensure alignment with Finance and company directions.
● Foster strong understanding of the industry and competitive landscape.
● Foster a fact-based, data-driven culture to planning and decision making.
● Develop effective and efficient processes for continuous performance management and collaboration with cross-functional partners.
● Act as a role model of B-F values and culture, and ensure compliance to B-F code of conduct and responsible guidelines.


Business Management and development
● Work closely with the General Manager and cross-functional leaders on the development of business and portfolio strategies, yearly budgets and quarterly projections, price structures and profit margins.
● Maintain a close and productive relationship distributor, key customers and partners.
● Ensure effective sales forecasting, planning, allocation and management of shipments/stocks through the integrated business planning process.
● Identify and maximize new business development opportunities.
● Keep abreast of market conditions, competitive activities and importation regulations.


What You Bring to the Table
● More than 8 years managerial experience in the alcohol industry, FMCG, or related industries
● Deep experience in distributor, customer, and country management
● Strong business acumen with leadership skills, commercial management, and strategic capabilities
● Sound knowledge of the retail environment and on-premise experience in the Philippines
● Ability to build productive relationships with strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
● Strong professional maturity and emotional intelligence to manage ambiguity and resolve conflicts constructively
● Ability to identify key issues and opportunities clearly and concisely
● Capability to inspire teams and make tough decisions for the business
● Brand literate with a passion for brand building and understanding consumer behaviors
● Adaptable, flexible, and resilient
● Proficiency in MS Office and ability to quickly learn Google G Suite
