Regional Manager for Greater China
Your role and responsibilitiesOversee all operations to include successful implementation for strategic and business plansOversee the development of the annual operating and capital budgets for China and ensures expenses comply with budget constraints while revenue meets or exceeds budgeted goalsEnsure all business activities are in compliance with company's corporate policies and procedures 360°Ensure provision of quality service consistent with company’s goals. Oversee and participate to quality assessment and performance improvement activitiesWork closely with China management team and other support staff to identify and resolve any relevant issues to improve efficiency and success for ChinaTake care of the most relevant customers in order to guarantee high level satisfaction and strong partnership while developing further relationships with existing and new customersGuide China management team in everyday activities with focus on HR aspects (e.g., development of talents, recruitment and succession plans) & marketing initiatives (e.g. events & crucial industry fair)Accelerate growth within the China by achieving excellent results and hit targets (increase cross-selling, empower ABB cooperation, increase A&S turnover, etc.)Oversee the development/enhancement of office systems/procedures to ensure effective operation and communication internally/externally as well as with the corporate officeReview/approve country policies based on the company’s mission, care standards and business practices making sure corporate policies and procedures are always followedEnsure that corporate initiatives and directives are implementedProvide to superior management all the requested report and analysis in the times and methods requiredEvaluate the possible exchange of resources and skills for an organic growth of the whole areaMake sure that China follow important guidelines regarding Integrity and Safety in every situationProvide necessary functional and legal support for implementation of localization initiatives in China
Qualifications for the roleRequires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or an equivalent discipline with 10 years’ experience in similar roleBroad Experience with selling and supporting industrial automation projects, experience in a Managing Director / senior leadership role, better if internationallyPrevious experience in industrial automation company is an advantage, Strong generalist with good understanding of multiple functional disciplines, mostly Industrial Automation and Finance relatedDemonstrable experience in developing strategies and business plans, Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and working well under pressureFirst class interpersonal skills adapt at building and motivating high performance teams, strong commercial acumen with strategic mindset, outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong ambassador for the cultural values within your organizationCustomer oriented approach, intuitive and fast reactingWillingness to travel up to the 70%
