The Opportunity

As the Country Medical Director (CMD), you are accountable for excellence in Medical Affairs, Evidence Generation and License to Operate (quality, compliance, regulatory). As the Centre Lead you act as a VACC leader and you are responsible for the upskilling and development of the people in your centre.

Work with the ET(enabling Team - local leadership body) to develop and implement the vision, mission and overarching strategy for Roche Hungary. As a member of the Leadership Team, make significant, strategic contributions to Roche Hungary overall and to the broader international Roche organization

Maintain reputation of Roche, with the highest level of scientific and medical standards in a visible and collaborative fashion.

The CMD will be the functional manager for Medical Enablers, LQR, Quality, regulatory, Clinical Operations and the local scientific expert and accountable to create an environment that develops the development of VACC (Visionary, Architects, Catalyst & Coach) leaders

Through external collaboration and partnerships, the CMD will anticipate and shape the future landscape and external trends that will affect patient care, workforce talent and the industry.

Accountable to define and architect the skills and capabilities, shape as needed within the function, for today and for the future.

Collaborative approach to ensure scientific operations activities addresses customer and external partner needs in a prioritized and strategic manner.

Who you are

Proficient in medical leadership, LTO, and coaching with Medical Degree.

Demonstrates an entrepreneurial approach with experience in creating and performing strategic visions.

Possesses strong business acumen, along with exceptional communication and negotiating skills.

Proven proficiency in mentoring, coaching, leading cross-functional teams, and performing effectively in ambiguous situations.

Collaboration and networking abilities, fluent in English.
