Job overview and responsibilities Strategic sales leader of team responsible for implementing UA’s sales strategy within multi-country geographic responsibilities in Thailand, Vietnam & Cambodia. Oversees all segments/channels within the region to increase United's revenue, share and maximizing UA/JV profitability through strategic analysis, value creation, implementation of sales programs, new business development and ongoing account management. Demonstrates understanding of the customer’s travel patterns, key influencer priorities, and travel management practices. Highly visible within the business travel and local community. Proactively works with respective governments, tourism bodies, industry partners where appropriate.Business Planning and Analysis: Develops, implements, and measures sales strategies and supporting tactics that drive revenue and share growth for targeted accounts Maximizes United and Joint Venture revenues, share premium growth and ROI by directing incentives and discounts to highly competitive markets and most lucrative revenue streams. Carefully monitors performance data and ensures that action is taken to quickly address opportunities and threatsEnsures Sales team fully utilizes Salesforce as a CRM tool, logging customer communications, implementing and tracking pricing/tactical initiatives and monitoring progress towards sales goals and objectivesDevelops corporate and strategies to achieve UA’s main business objectives and support business plans focused on increasing high-yield revenue and market share through market analysisRolls out strategic and tactical initiatives in local market in coordination with RM and JV stakeholdersWork closely with CSC stakeholders on increasing brand awareness in the local marketIdentifies high-yield opportunities to influence share shift to UA/JVNew business acquisition: seek and target new business relationships: grows portfolio by identifying, cultivating and contracting new and incremental corporate and/or agency agreementsUnderstands and promotes direct and alternate booking channels, including New Distribution Capabilities (NDC)Collaborates closely with sales leadership, other company leaders and internal stakeholders, to ensure alignment of strategy and tactics and optimizes execution of applicable initiativesMaintains real-time awareness of marketplace developments and communicates trends and opportunitiesWorks closely with Director and joint venture airline partners to achieve goals and strategic objectivesCultivates healthy and productive business relationships with clients, including executive engagementVisible at client, industry Travel Associations, civic and community events in coordination with JV partners Fosters a performance-based culture of continuous sales effectiveness improvement by motivating and rewarding tenacity, teamwork, and creativityHas expert knowledge of United value propositions, sales process, account & territory management best practicesIs goal focused delivering on VBEs to achieve our main business objectivesProvides leadership and direction for all commercial activities in the markets while managing the overall GSA partner relationshipsBe the primary company interface between United and our GSA Partner

Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experienceFive years equivalent experience with increasing levels of responsibility or four years of airline sales or travel industry experience (supplier, consultant, Travel Management Company, etc.)Proven track record of coaching successful sales teams and driving goal attainmentFoundational understanding of airline sales or travel industry salesDemonstrated general business acumen and financial aptitudeAbility to create and deliver client-facing presentationsAbility to cultivate business partnershipsStrong negotiation skillsResults orientedSensitive and respectful of multiple countries' culturesQuickly and effectively respond to the changing environmentExecutive presence skills enabling to comfortably engage with high level internal and external UA stakeholdersProven track record of coaching successful sales teams and driving goal attainmentProficiency in key business computer applications (ex.
