As a Supply Chain Manager, you will plan, coordinate and monitor the transfer of goods and materials from manufacturers and suppliers all the way through to customers. You may oversee the whole process from beginning to end or you may work in part of the chain. 

 

Supply chains are made up of different operations, which include everything from forecasting trends and buying, through to transport and distribution. You might also be involved in brand and marketing planning to make sure what is being promised can be delivered.

Key responsibilities Manage, coordinate and be responsible for all daily supply chain tasks and teams in achieving target and give support to the business (Demand planning, supply planning, scheduling, call off, importation/exportation). Monitor, direct and improve all process flow in supply chain to be more effective and efficient. Manage inventory control in optimum levels to support customer order in full and on time and also achieve target stock/inventory as well. Analyse reports, data and performance of supply chain and make work plans to solve the issues. Communicate, coordinate and cooperate with internal teams (Production, Warehouse, R&D, QA, Maintenance, Purchasing, others) together with other Kerry staffs in the region or other sites to achieve the company target and goals and also for projects. Communicate and cooperate with suppliers for all matters related to supply chain (supply demand, schedule shipment, importation). Communicate and cooperate with government institutions (trade minister, agriculture minister, custom) and other 3rd party forwarder agents to support all supply chain roles and targets such as licenses, permits, updated regulations. Manage and coordinate for any Supply Chain projects. Take responsibility and accountability for the Customer Service function overall, ensuring that your Customer Care Manager and the team are processing orders to meet customer expectations for on-time delivery in full through proper internal dealings and effective communication to customers. Manage, monitor and review all import activities PO, shipment, eta port and eta warehouse, solve any issues raised and make sure everything is running well. Ensure all import activities cost (clearance, freight and transportation) in an efficient and effective manner and minimize any extra/high cost raised. Manage, monitor and review yearly/monthly/daily material planning/requirements based on yearly sales budget/forecast/customer orders to ensure all customer orders can be fulfilled on time and in full delivery. Implement, monitor and improve systems and work procedures in supply chain in order to achieve high efficiency and productivity. Supervise, train and coach all teams in supply chain with daily activities and any projects in order to achieve SC objectives/KPI and build good teamwork. Manage, review and minimize bad stock/NC stock to minimize any loss of stocks. People management, do appraisal to supply chain team regarding work performance. Qualifications and skills Preferably a Bachelors Degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain or related fields. Good to have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a Supply Chain role with at least 5 years’ experience in a leadership role. Preferably 5 years of experience working in Food & Beverage, Food Service or Ingredients / Flavour industries. Must have cost management experience. Good understanding of Food Management System, and Safety Environment Management System. Proven capability to manage, monitor and review all import activities PO, shipment, eta port and eta warehouse. Good Problem solving abilities and organizational skills and be proactive in following through deadlines.  Excellent facilitation and negotiation skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and changing environment. Excellent interpersonal and project management skills.
