THALES are looking to recruit a dedicated Courseware Developer & Trainer to work within a team of courseware designers and create, maintain and manage Learning Management System (LMS) content for programmes to customer requirements

You will be based at Templecombe or Crawley or Reading.

What will you deliver?

To create, maintain and manage Learning Management System (LMS) content.Consistently demonstrate the value of a range of Learning and Development techniques.Work with end user to articulate the training programme deliverables.Recommend changes to training affected processes and procedures and follow through with required updates.Provide training decision outputs within own sphere of responsibility and delegated authority.Analysis of trending training data to manage learning and recommend changes required to improve learning outcomes for the end users.Analyse, design and deliver training to UK MOD JSP822 standards to ensure the Company training outputs remain compliant.Compile data, to a variety of national / international /civil / military specifications, and produce physical/electronic deliverables.Deliver training to the customer.Take responsibility for contributing to team planning, risk management, quality and HSE.Set targets for and manage own development with line manager. Seek and share good practice and knowledge to continuously improve own practices.

Who are we looking for?

HNC/D in an Engineering disciplineQualification in Training/Learning/e-learning creationDemonstrable success in provisioning and delivering training programmes in the Post Compulsory Education & Training sectorUtilisation and tailoring of Systemised Approach to Training (DSAT, ADDIE)Planning and preparing teaching and learning programmes for groups and individualsCreate and maintain e-learning contentAssessing the outcomes of learning and learners achievementStrong proficiency within standard Microsoft office packages/Authoring tools

This role will require SC Clearance. It would be advantageous if currently held, however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant will undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance.  Please visit the UKSV website for further guidance.
