Cover Cleaner week Days and Weekends

Pay: £11.44 per hour.
Contract Type: Part Time.
Hours: 2 hours per week.
Location: Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council - Basingstoke.

We are looking for a dedicated Cover Cleaning Operative to join our team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to maintain all cleaning equipment and areas in a clean, well-maintained, and safe condition, adhering to our Service Level Agreements (SLAs). You will gain a comprehensive understanding of your designated cleaning area, including optimal hours for cleaning tasks and the specific cleaning equipment and chemicals used on-site, while complying with Health and Safety regulations.

Working Hours:

As a Cover Cleaning Operative, you will work flexible hours, ranging from 2 to 8-hour shifts, to provide coverage for absences within our team. Your availability for morning, daytime, or evening shifts is essential.

Training and Collaboration:

To succeed in this role, you will need to complete all necessary cleaning and operational training independently. Team collaboration is crucial, but you should also be comfortable working independently when needed.

Customer Service:

Building strong, positive relationships with our clients is a key aspect of this role. You will be expected to deliver outstanding customer service while actively looking for ways to improve and exceed our clients' expectations.

In your new role as a Cleaning Operative you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

In order to be successful in this role you will need have the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role.
