The Supply Chain Commercial Specialist will develop and execute sourcing strategies and tactics tailored to the business's current situation, strategic goals, and market conditions. This role ensures alignment between stakeholders and contracts, optimizes performance, and eliminates waste while managing services contracts for ongoing operations and projects, including Brownfields and field expansion. A significant focus will be placed on tendering and managing strategic contracts.
Key Accountabilities 1. Safety and Compliance Ensure Supply Chain strategies align with safety aspirations by implementing robust Contractor Safety Management practices. Emphasize quality, workers' welfare, and process safety to achieve safety objectives. Maintain compliance with HSSE&SP, E&C, Code of Conduct, and applicable laws and regulations. 2. Strategy Development and Execution Collaborate with business partners to design and improve supply chains, including contracting strategies and post-award contract management. Lead category strategies, adjust supply chain processes based on business changes, and negotiate contracts. Design remuneration models to align supplier behavior with business goals. 3. Market and Supplier Engagement Build and maintain a strong supplier network, staying informed of market trends and opportunities. Foster integrated relationships across the end-to-end supply chain to achieve business outcomes. 4. Value Creation Identify opportunities to drive cost reductions and value creation beyond conventional methods. Conduct tenders, evaluate bids, and develop robust cost models to maximize value. 5. Stakeholder Collaboration Proactively identify procurement needs and propose competitive end-to-end supply chain solutions. Influence stakeholders (business, CP, suppliers) to collaborate effectively. Ensure clear communication of contract intents to all stakeholders. 6. Process Improvement Champion continuous improvement and simplification across supply chain processes. Key Experiences and Qualifications Strong experience in contract negotiations, tender evaluation, and attention to detail. Ability to tailor global strategies to local business and market conditions. Skilled in stakeholder management and supplier relationship development. Proficient in post-contract management processes. Results-driven with excellent communication skills and a clear, concise articulation style. Proven ability to translate strategies into actionable, valuable outcomes. Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and business context. Experience managing production contracts (preferred). Proficient in SAP/Ariba for procurement and contract-related activities.
