Set vision and strategic direction for the future of Operations in PS & Regulatory to enable product registrations in different geographies and digital transformationLead the Operations team of 4 PS & Regulatory Operations leads consisted of 3 CU PS & Regulatory Operations leads  and Supply chain coordination manager to deliver team priority and commitmentEstablish regional standard model of operations (systems, process, way of working, organization and data quality management) in AMEA aligned with global model required to build the regulatory dossier and deliver registration submissions in countries of AMEADevelop process to leverage digital technology and efficient way of working in regulatory team and with other functions across broad geography (Global – Region – CU – Country)Lead to implement digital strategy and use of digital tools to improve efficiency in managing registration planning, progress tracking, finding and managing registration information for portfolio management and professional consultation to commercial, CPD, P&S and other functions.  Registration information includes, but not limited to, building blocks of registration data for registration dossier development, all records of submitted product registrations and certificates, registration data requirements and timeline, regulatory policy information, registration data points to be used for various functional purposes. Digital strategy is expected to gain efficiency and effectiveness in data management, data quality management, budget management and knowledge management.Responsible for the regional operations team for organization and strucutre, capabilities and capacity, talent management, succession planning and indiviudal development to ensure sustainable team equipped to deliver the current and future needsEnsure the right use of data and create the data architecture needed for current and future digital aspirations fully aligned with global initiatives (Veeva and other solutions)Owns and monitor KPIs of PS & CP Regulatory including budget management – adjusting, proposing changes and coordinating with global and CUs.Drive continuous improvement in regulatory operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of activities in support of company CP business strategyEnsure Supply Chain coordination manager is closely working cross-functionaly across geography and functionally to keep fully compliant and aligned with business plan by lisising with P&S planner, relevant Regulatory portfolio indication leads and Global Portfolio Support teamEstablish and maintain the governance model / framework required to operate the systems and processes that are common to other areas of Syngenta AGEnsure consistent training and development for cross functional processes and systemsAct as the focal point of regional operations team to strategic business partners within CP PS & regulatory and outside CP PS & regulatory including CPD, Project management and other functions
Additional Information

Critical knowledge and experiences

 

University graduate and preferably post-graduate qualification (MSc or PhD)In-depth regulatory expertise preferentially on different geographies, rolesUnderstanding of the R&D organisations, and key processes involved with development of new active ingredient and productsSolid understanding of agriculture and the contribution of crop protection to achieve sustainable agricultureGreat leadership skillsKnowledge on systems, data and knowledge management as this relates to the roleStrategic thinking and passion for operationsOperational excellence approach to process improvement
