**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Night Shift **Description:** 72hrs per pp Weekend Nights 7p.m. - 7:30 a.m. Variable. Holidays on call per CBA **Position Purpose:** Great opportunity for a Cpd Support Specialist II, professional to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually! **Position Summary:** Cpd Support Specialist II, Cpd provides hospital and affiliated facilities with processed materials and equipment by executing established procedures for decontamination, assembly, packaging, and sterilization. Maintains efficient flow of processing procedures, through appropriate case set-up, anticipation of health care provider requests and patient care needs. **What Cpd Support Specialist II will do:** + Assembles instruments correctly, ensuring appropriate cleanliness and function is achieved. + Prepares instruments for sterilization through proper packaging, rigid container system, and wrapping techniques. + Sterilizes instruments by correctly loading carts and operating sterilizers (Steam Sterilizer and Low Temperature). + Maintains efficient flow of processing procedures, through appropriate case cart set-up, anticipation of health care provider requests and patient care needs. **Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Night Shift **Minimum Qualifications:** + Minimum: High School diploma or equivalent + Required: Graduate from a sterile processing program + Preferred: BLS certified Related Experience Minimum: 1 year of experience in Sterile Processing department One year of general work experience Required: Certification in Central Sterile Processing Membership in Central Sterile Processing Professional Organization Preferred: Specialized certification such as CIS or CER Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Minimum: Basic computer skills Preferred: Familiar with Microsoft office programs Position Highlights and Benefits: + Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage available on your first day + 403b with employer match + Tuition Reimbursement + 100% paid CEU + Paid Time Off **Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion** Trinity Health is one of the largest not-for-profit, Catholic healthcare systems in the nation.
