Summary: Oversees the quality of paint finishes through the use of technical devices, measuring methodologies, Quality Engineers, visual controls and external analysis if necessary by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ensures calibration and documentation of quality measurement equipment.*
Supports paint process systems with customer.*
Responsible for quality improvement projects management with desired measures.
Responsible for execution of regular visual controls - 1x weekly color harmony.*
Responsible for coordination of quality measurements and reporting.*
Responsible for creating, maintaining, and revising trending charts for multiple data series.*
Coordinates trials and special projects and meeting customer requests in a timely manner.*
Directly supervises and supports Quality Engineers and other departments.*
Enters consumables sign-out data into database daily.*
Assists CPP manager with monitoring consumables inventory and usage.*
Creates reports for consumables data as required and requested.*
Compiles data from multiples sources and assists with generating and revising the monthly CPP report.*
Ensures compliance with ISO certifications by creating and revising work instructions, controlling forms, and maintaining training matrices.*
Assists CPP manager with process optimizations, employee training, and special projects.*
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises employees in all departments. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
