Rubrik is searching for a sharp, motivated Salesforce Configure, Price, Quote tool (CPQ) expert to join our Product Operations team as a CPQ program manager. In this role, you’ll lead the efforts in designing guided selling process flow, discounting and approvals framework, renewals and amendments design, improve system process and elevate user experience. You will also collaborate with cross functional business teams to drive and define business requirements supporting all GTM (Go to Market) initiatives.
You must have exceptional analytical and organizational skills and be comfortable juggling multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines. What you’ll be doing:
Lead complex projects related to GTM initiatives, sales productivity, user experience and be accountable for timely delivery of CPQ projects. Facilitate business process reviews, gather feedback from field sales organization, a constant advocate for sales experience. Build effective proofs-of-concept for potential new solutions and technologies around CPQ. Collaborate with business teams to understand business requirement and partner closely with IT Development team on getting solutions and changes implemented. Translate business requirements into Salesforce CPQ design, leveraging best practices to deliver best user experience. Develop technical requirements for IT developers as needed. Create, maintain and deliver end user training and documentation.Experience you’ll need:
3+ years of experience working directly with or supporting field sales organization. 3+ years of experience managing a Quote-to-Cash application, (ex: Salesforce CPQ, Apptus, etc.) with proficiency in Salesforce CPQ and the willingness to become certified. Excellent problem solving and project management skills. Deep experience in CPQ product, pricing modeling and product configuration to simplify the sales experience. Hands on experience implementing CPQ in software industry with complex product structure; advanced knowledge of all aspects of Salesforce CPQ; specifically on guided selling and product configuration. Capable of identifying cross-functional inter-dependencies quickly, experience in developing business relationships including: requirements definition, functional specification creation, testing, root cause analysis, etc. Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Proven ability to successfully juggle multiple projects, deliverables and deadlines at once. Basic understanding of key salesforce.com architectural concepts ( API, governor limit, force.com platform, Test coverage, Apex , Visual Force, Workflow, Process Builder, Triggers etc) and how they influence design. Understanding of testing and release processes. Familiarity with software NPI process is a plus.ABOUT RUBRIK
