As you navigate through the various stages of product development, you will be able to see the tangible results of your work with close collaboration from Packaging, Microbiology, Regulatory, Marketing, Product Supply, and Sales. This role will report to the Business Innovation & Solutions - R&D Associate Director. **In this role, you will:** + Serve as Product / Process Development Lead for projects to ensure technical rigor of all project deliverables. + Design and execute technical test plans to converge on and validate product/formulation design and performance. Includes developing new test methods with support when necessary. + Work closely with current and potential suppliers to identify and develop innovative solutions to meet objectives presented in projects. + Drive creation of exclusionary strategy and intellectual property on projects, where applicable. + Work with project team and make technical recommendations that drive efficiency, preferred solutions and manage risk while achieving desired project outcomes. + Collaborate with R&D team and cross-functional peers that value open learning, technical curiosity, and supports development, sharing, and testing of new ideas. **What we look for:** **Experience required** + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Science or Engineering + Minimum of 3 years experience, preferably in consumer products with a focus on Product, Package and/or Process Development. + Experience with Scaled Agile process is a plus **Skills required** + High passion, positive drive and commitment in setting and meeting aggressive goals and enjoy working in a variety of cultures and settings. + Demonstrated strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to work with multi-functional groups. + Strong technical curiosity and creative problem-solving skills, sound technical judgement, and hands-on focus + Ability to identify, champion and adapt new technologies, tools, and processes.
