Job Title: Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) Technician to perform CQA services for landfill and landfill gas projects in the southeastern states (GA, FL, AL). This role offers excellent opportunities for career advancement and a competitive benefits package.

ResponsibilitiesConduct daily site inspections at landfills or construction sites.Oversight and inspection engineering management of landfill gas and landfill construction (cell and closure) to ensure compliance with design plans.Ensure construction quality assurance (CQA) compliance with drawings and technical specifications.Perform landfill gas or remedial system maintenance and monitoring.Coordinate with General Contractors and Subcontractors.Submit daily written and photo log reports.Prepare construction documentation reports as requested.Assist in training engineering technicians, associate staff, and staff professionals in field activities.Assist in office operations when requested.Essential Skills3-5 years experience with Geosynthetics Inspections.Proficient with Excel, Word, and PDFs (Daily Field Logs use fillable Excel Template).Experience in soil sampling and quality assurance.Ability to write comprehensive reports.Additional Skills & QualificationsSelf-starter with knowledge of geosynthetics, liners, gas systems or soil sampling.1 year of experience in active construction sites or engineering field work preferred.Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.Strong oral presentation and written communication skills.Knowledge of geosynthetics, liners, soils or gas systems preferred.Must meet physical requirements for driving, lifting and carrying equipment, hand excavation, carrying and climbing ladders, operating electric tools, using hand tools, and working under various weather conditions.Work Environment

The role involves a significant amount of traveling, with rotations of 3-4 weeks on the road and a 1-week break. Overnight stays and regional travel within GA, AL, and FL are required. The first 2 weeks includes onboarding and safety training at an office, followed by hands-on training at different landfill sites. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
