CQR Technician - Records and Information Coordinator

Job description:

The Records and Information Coordinator is responsible for managing both physical and electronic records within the organization. This role includes scanning hard copy records into digital formats, ensuring secure storage, handling access permissions, and supporting the overall information management strategy. The coordinator will assist in maintaining the organization’s compliance with information management policies, facilitate awareness activities, and ensure the efficient handling of records throughout their lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Scan hard copy documents into electronic formats for future reference and organizational use.
•Assist with various information management tasks to enhance the program’s effectiveness and ensure proper handling of records.
•Coordinate the storage, retrieval, and movement of physical records to designated storage locations and maintain an inventory of records stored in external facilities.
•Administer user permissions for electronic systems to ensure appropriate access based on roles and business needs.
•Organize and conduct information management training sessions for employees to improve awareness of best practices in record handling and security.
•Review and manage access rights to confidential, sensitive, and highly classified information (both physical and electronic), adjusting access as needed.
•Establish and manage secure storage spaces for physical records and ensure proper access control

Required Skills:
•Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Quality, or a related field.
•3-5 years of experience in document control, records management, or compliance-related roles.
•Proficiency in document management systems (DMS) and enterprise content management (ECM) platforms.
•Strong understanding of information security protocols, access control systems, and document management processes.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
