Through its Center for Community Development (CCD), American Express National Bank’s overarching goal is to maintain a leadership position in financing, investing, and facilitating community development activities within our Salt Lake City MSA assessment area and beyond. 

The Center for Community Development is hiring a CRA Program Manager. This manager role provides a unique and dynamic opportunity within the organization supporting our Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) community development work and supports many facets of our CRA efforts with a primary focus on CRA related policies, procedures, and reporting. This role entails maintaining CCD’s procedures and risk assessments related to procedures and managing reporting related to CRA loan, investment, and grant transactions. Additionally, this role performs administrative responsibilities for the AENB CCD including serving as CRA Policy Custodian, and Business Continuity Plan Coordinator.

The CRA Program Manager role provides a tremendous opportunity to deliver value to American Express National Bank as well as the communities in which we live and work.  The CRA Program Manager role will report to the CRA Program Director and the position is based in Sandy, Utah.

Impact you'll make:

Responsible for maintaining CCD’s procedures and related risk and control testing Responsible for managing CCD’s third parties and software Assist and participate in CCD special projects, compliance and regulatory exams, audits and other bank compliance matters   Preparation of presentations and documentation related to Board of Director meetings, CRA Committee meetings, other internal committee meetings, data integrity reviews, and CRA exams Responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and minute taking of quarterly CRA Committee meetings

What you'll bring:

Strong understanding of the banking risk controls and regulatory reporting Agility to adapt to changing priorities Process and detail oriented  Ability to build and leverage relationships with internal and external partners Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

3 to 5 years of experience with banking regulations Experience with internal bank compliance related to third parties Experience with internal bank compliance related to risk control

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
