Here's how a(n) Craft Recruiter for our Solar USA office contributes to our team:

Responsibilities Proactively sources candidates through various networks, industry associations, and outreach programs to maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for hard-to-fill roles. Screens candidate applications, conducts interviews, and evaluates skills to match them with available job opportunities. Verifies candidate qualifications, including trade certifications, employment history, and work experience, to ensure compliance with job requirements. Confirms craft trade certifications and ensures all necessary credentials are validated before hiring. Collaborates with project team to effectively meet the workforce demands of multiple projects. Builds and maintains strong relationships with HR professionals, recruiters, and industry partners to support recruitment efforts and talent acquisition strategies. Communicates with project administrators to ensure accurate documentation, including candidate records, certifications, and compliance paperwork, is gathered, reviewed, stored, and distributed appropriately. Supports administrative activities related to recruitment and hiring, ensuring all documentation is maintained according to company policies and industry standards. Conducts Craft New Hire orientations as needed, ensuring new employees are onboarded effectively and provided with necessary information regarding policies, safety, and expectations. Other duties as assigned to support workforce planning, recruitment, and project needs. Qualifications A certificate, postsecondary diploma, or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience in recruitment or workforce development will also be considered. 3-5 years of progressive experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably within the construction, skilled trades, or industrial sectors. Experience sourcing, interviewing, and hiring craft professionals is highly desirable. Strong understanding of construction industry workforce demands, skilled trades, and labor market trends. Experience in apprenticeship programs and IRA compliance is a significant advantage. Ability and willingness to travel to job sites, career fairs, and recruitment events as needed to support hiring efforts. Proven ability to develop and execute recruitment strategies, leveraging traditional and non-traditional sourcing methods to attract qualified candidates. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage candidates, negotiate offers, and present hiring strategies that influence positive outcomes. Administrative & Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with employment regulations, apprenticeship programs, and workforce documentation.
