Job Description

: Crane & Port Inspectors (Vietnamese speaking)

Reporting

: Project Manager

Working location

: in the South, Vietnam

 

Tasks – Activities – Responsibilities

Our job performance is within the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, QHSE policy, Codes of Ethics and BV Group’s policies and procedures.

 

Performing regular inspections on various types of cranes to ensure they are in safe working order Evaluating cranes’ operational components, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Identifying potential risks or malfunctions that could lead to accidents or equipment failure Writing detailed inspection reports outlining the condition of the crane and any necessary repairs or maintenance Keeping up-to-date with the latest safety regulations and standards related to crane operation Providing recommendations for maintenance or repair work based on inspection findings Conducting tests to assess the functionality of crane safety devices and features Communicating with crane operators and managers about inspection results and safety concerns Training and advising crane operators and other relevant staff on best practices for crane safety and operation.

 

Candidate Profile

 

University degree in Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Control system engineering. Proven experience as a Crane/Ports Inspector or similar role Certification as a Crane/Ports Inspector or ability to obtain certification
