Crane Inspector **Location: Kansas City, MO** Summary: Custom Truck One Source has openings for a highly qualified and motivates Crane Technician. This position will primarily focus on the testing and inspection of new truck mounted construction cranes, buckets, and diggers. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES:** + always Maintain a safe work environment. + Perform annual crane, bucket and digger inspections and certifications. + Perform any other duties as assigned. **QUALIFICATIONS:** + High school diploma or the equivalent. + Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. + Excellent communication skills. + Experience in the repair of truck mounted crane products, buckets and diggers. + Should be Familiar with hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems on crane + Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. + Must have a valid driver's license. CDL preferred + National/Manitowoc/Terex/Altec/Grove experience and training a plus + Basic computer knowledge preferred + Must have own hand tools + Must be able to work overtime and some Saturdays + Attention to detail and must possess a strong work ethic + Experience reading and interpreting parts lists, manufactures repair + Manuals, diagrams and electrical schematics + Maintain accurate records + Must be able to read and understand crane load charts **PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:** + Ability to use carts, forklifts, hand truck, pallet, jack and equipment of such nature + Frequent lifting of 60-100 pounds + Ability to walk and stand on concrete and uneven surfaces for at least 8 hours per day + Exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, gas and/or fumes. + Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions **COMPENSATION:** + Competitive compensation based on experience.
