Core Responsibilities:
Responsible for pre-shift inspection reports Responsible for the operation and control of crane machine. Responsible for operating overhead cranes, whether cab or ground controlled to lift, move and position loads like machinery, equipment, products and also solid or bulk materials using hoisting attachments like hook, sling, electromagnet or bucket. Responsible for load hookup and determining safety of load. Responsible for cleaning as well as maintaining crane hoisting mechanism. Responsible for overseeing of bundle loading. Responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and coordinating timely repair of equipment. Responsible for communicating crane malfunctions to the supervisor. Responsible for the operation and control of crane. Performs other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor. Responsible for tracking of all material movements/scanning bundle movements and bundle locations. Responsible for taking inventory as requested Communicate with all team members (maintenance and production) to ensure excellent communication on all issues.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Previous crane or heavy equipment experience preferred. Previous industrial manufacturing experience preferred. Prefer knowledge of computer-operated machine operation. Must be able to master crane operation, mechanical and electrical equipment knowledge and skills. Requires all certifications kept current. Ability to work various shifts. Knowledge of compiling reports and ensuring compliance.
