**Now Hiring: Crane Operator** **Job Description** Operate friction, cable, and hydraulic cranes to discharge cargo from vessels to shore. Maintain and repair cranes as trained and instructed, ensuring safe and efficient operations. **Responsibilities** + Successfully operate waterside cranes to discharge cargo from vessels to shore. + Safely and efficiently operate cranes and related gear to transfer cargo from vessel to shore. + Effectively coordinate with vessel personnel, completing required documents and reports related to cargo transfer. + Participate in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of cranes, gear, and related equipment as trained and instructed. + Perform general duties in all areas of operations of the terminals as assigned. + Engage in refresher training in maintenance, operations, safety, and environmental as required. + Perform housekeeping and general maintenance as needed. + Execute any other terminal functions as trained and instructed by the supervisor. **Essential Skills** + Experience in machine operating, crane operation, production, general labor, and heavy industry. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. + Ability to work at heights up to 80 feet. + Demonstrated aptitude to execute and maintain necessary records. + Ability to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, keep required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules. + Willingness to work overtime, weekends, nights, and some holidays as needed. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in crane operations and maintenance. + Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights. + Strong teamwork and communication skills. **Why Work Here?** We offer annual evaluations for pay increases and a competitive benefits package once hired on.
