Crawlspace Encapsulation Technician

Summary of Job:

Perform install and repair of residential duct systems, crawlspace encapsulation, and dehumidifiers.

Education and Experience

1-3 years of field experience preferredHigh school diploma or GED preferredExperience running electrical circuits preferredExperience installing sump pumps preferredExperience installing dehumidifiers preferredAble to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checkGood driving record with valid license

Skills and Abilities:

Basic computer knowledgeCustomer service skillsIntermediate knowledge of residential HVAC systemsKnowledge of airflow, air quality, and duct materials/systemsGeneral knowledge on pulling electrical circuitsKnowledge and experience on installing and setting up controls on dehumidifiersInstall and set up sump pumps and drain piping for pumpsKnowledge and skill to perform proper air sealing in crawlspace to industry and Lee Company standardsMeasure, laying and securing plastic on Cat. 1 and Cat. 2 crawlspace renovationsSkill on removal and reinstalling floor insulationKnowledge and skill on crawlspace cleanup and leveling ground for proper drainageSkill to proper seal crawlspace vents, floor penetrations, seal around ductwork to package unitsProperly install and set up moisture controls for dehumidifierPlan and maintain a safe workspace environment while performing crawlspace encapsulation and crawlspace renovation jobs as per Lee Company standards.
