The Renewal Business Analyst will coordinate and process small group insurance renewals timely and accurate.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
Process small group insurance renewals, including verifying information and accounts, reviewing alternate carriers, requesting quotes, and notifying carriers.
Retrieve renewals from carriers’ websites when they are released.
Email renewals and supporting documents to the agent, within 24 to 48 hours of the renewal being released from the carrier.
Input data and update renewal information in the company’s database system.
Work with the agent and carrier to help retain groups going through an audit.
Process signed renewal on carrier’s website.
Complete open enrollment changes.
Process group termination requests with the carrier.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of two (2) years of related experience in health insurance, medical, and/or employee benefits.

Working knowledge of carrier products.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook Exchange; proficient in web browsers, specifically Google Chrome.
