Introduction to the job

The purpose of the Contract & Supplier Manger is responsible for managing the supply chain that delivers the Regional CRE outsourced services. The Contract & Supplier manager contributes to maintaining a consistent set of physical assets, buildings, grounds and services for ASML by optimizing the supply chain and partnerships with suppliers. At the core of this position lies the purpose to continuously ensure an aligned, consistent, fit-for-purpose, agile and forward-looking collaboration with suppliers. Key focus areas concern professional procurement, contract management , performance management and supplier management. All of this based on and executed within CRE’s strategic pillars (Safety, TCO, Flexibility, Business Alignment, Wellbeing and Sustainability).

The Contract & Supplier manager is responsible for local contracts and supplier management on Hard and Soft services (include physical security) and budgeting process

CRE is positioned within ASML as a global matrix organization. Regional CRE – TW/SG is responsible for the assets and the asset performance for the production sites in the region, the daily management and execution of asset management and FM services in compliance with (global) standards. 

The Contract & Supplier manager is part of the Delivery & Supply Management (Hard Service and Soft Service) that is responsible for managing the maintenance and facility management services. The team is built as a demand team, with complimentary roles: Asset Engineer, soft service specialist who are responsible of the content of maintenance and CRE services, Contract & Supplier managers that are responsible for managing the supply chain and agreements and data management roles that support efficiently delivery processes.

Task

•   This position requires a number of highly complex tenders and contracting processes in a complex environment accompanied by critical risk management strategies. The Contract & Supplier manager is (partly) responsible for these tenders and the contracting processes.
•   Execute supplier performance management system that to supports the contract management activities. The contract & supplier manager will be responsible to implement the system with Corporate CRE support and transition to  IFM 2.0 stage.
•    The Contract & Supplier manager will be responsible to implement with corporate CRE of uniform contract and performance management methods.
•    Evolve structure analysis, forecasting and long term financial planning of Regional CRE contracts. 
•    Supplier relationships are currently (predominantly) based on historical relations, not always supported with clear agreements on the objectives and mutual/vested outcomes. Output contracts will have to support Regional CRE in the future to make a change from short term focus to long-term planning with supportive sourcing and supplier strategies (include operating model). Also partnership-driven relations are considered as essential new, but challenging contracting strategies. The Contract & Supplier manager will be (partly) responsible to develop future proof ideas and visions on contracting strategies and implementation of these strategies.
•    Embedding innovation and continuous improvement processes in the collaborations with supplier. The Contract & Supplier manager will be (partly) responsible to develop new insights and ideas how to embed innovation in the supply chain and evolve the supplier relations and partnerships following ASML vision.
•    Establish strong relations with suppliers in order to successfully manage contract relations from a partnership approach. Be sensitive for the relational side of these types of partnership and build professional network relations.

Education and experience

Bachelor / Master degree in business administration, engineering & management, facility management or similar.

At least 5~7 years of relevant experience in an international high tech industrial environment
