Caterpillar is looking to add a skilled **Creative Consult** to the Corporate Financial Services Division to provide consultation, support and project management in the areas of design, art direction, production and systems applications for a broad range of communications, publications and corporate material. The primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: + Consults with customers to determine key objectives, target audience, delivery timeline and develops media recommendations to achieve customer objectives. + Manages the assigned projects from concept to finalization. + Development of concept proposal including media selected, project schedule with major milestones + Developing innovative processes or methods to best use resources or technology in meeting the quality goals by benchmarking design trends and keeping abreast of latest technology. + Ability to create high quality graphic design solutions utilizing latest technology and appropriate application to originate professional creative concepts. + Designs or creates visuals to support a standalone presentation or a group of presentations in a larger project. + Create a storyboard for visual interpretation of a presentation script. + Research and gather visual support for presentation, ie finding documentation to support major points of presentation. **What you will have:** + **Education/ Experience:** · Bachelor’s level degree in Graphic/Media Design or equivalent experience + **Customer Focus:** Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions + **Effective Communications:** Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. + **Vendor/Supplier Management:** Knowledge of external provider management processes and ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers (e.g. vendors, service providers, contractors, consultants and suppliers). + **Promotion and Marketing Communications:** Knowledge of different promotional and marketing communication techniques; ability to use different marketing channels and tools in combination to focus on how a business communicates a message to the market. + Strong skills in teamwork, relationship building, timeliness, accuracy and efficiency + Proven ability to create high quality and innovative designs + Strong focus on customer satisfaction **Additional Details:** + Relocation will be available to those that qualify. + Limited travel required (less than 10% of working time). + The preferred location for this role is Chicago, IL, Irving, TX or Peoria, IL. **About Caterpillar:** Caterpillar Inc. is the world’s leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, off-highway diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives.
