Your New Role…

Creative & Design Graduate Interns will support the WBD Creative Services, CNNIC Marketing and CNNIC Create teams to design key assets for WBD and CNN’s marketing and events teams, as well as for their advertising partners.

Your Role Accountabilities…Assist Creative Services UK & Ireland and the In-House Designer with the origination, localisation, and delivery of creative campaign materials across various disciplines and deadlines. Participate in concept strategy, visualise campaign designs and assets through creation of mood boards and other creative materials.Assist in producing artwork and design of marketing communications and advertising promotional material e.g., client email newsletters, social media, print marketing, internal communications and events.Support the production of the internal and external digital interfaces (intranet, website, social media) that assist our global teams and promote CNNIC.Work individually and with team of animators to deliver branded animated content.Work with a social team to develop social campaigns.Design supporting assets for digital campaigns: traffic drivers, social assets,Animation/motion graphic assets, and bannersEnsure consistency of CNN brand standards across all design touch pointsCreative support for sales and marketing.

Qualifications & Experience…You must be a recent university graduate, having graduated no earlier than July 2024.  Passionate about pursuing a career in graphic design, with a portfolio that demonstrates a good creative eye and fantastic attention to detail.Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and MS Office.Have an understanding of brand guidelines, how to use them, and how to apply them creatively to your work. Knowledge of typography and layout is desirable.Understanding of Digital User Experience design and Visual Design (any animation or motion experience will be a bonus).Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions. Well organised and disciplined with the ability to plan and prioritise workload effectively, excellent attention to detail.

The Internship...Salary: £28,000Contract Length: 10-12 monthsStart Date: Likely to be 8th September 2024You will gain hands-on experience working on business-critical projects. You will have access to personal and professional development courses, executive speakers’ series, special screenings and more. You will be part of our Early Talent network of over 100 interns & apprentices, meaning you will have an important support network of other students, graduates and apprentices and plenty of opportunities to socialise!  

Next Steps… Stage 1: Submit your CV as soon as possible (we will close adverts when we have enough applications). Stage 2: For eligible candidates, you will be invited to complete a written questionnaire in HireVue.Stage 3: Pre-recorded video interviews via HireVue will be sent out, to be completed in April. Stage 4: Assessment Centres & Interviews will take place May-June.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
