**Overview**
The Creative Design Specialist is responsible for the development and execution of all graphical elements related to instant ticket design, marketing materials, and production-ready files. This role requires a blend of creativity and technical expertise to ensure that designs meet client standards, manufacturing specifications, and legal guidelines.
**Responsibilities**
**Design Development:**
+ Develop design concepts based on targeted sales efforts and client requests.
+ Create scratch ticket designs, ticket inserts, and related marketing materials.
+ Ensure designs adhere to client standards, brand guidelines, legal requirements, and production specifications.
**Collaboration:**
+ Work closely with Account Services, Sales, and Prepress teams to ensure seamless communication regarding file preparation and design adjustments.
+ Collaborate with other CDS’s to ensure designs are optimized for production.
+ Participate in special projects and assist foreign markets as needed.
**File Preparation:**
+ Generate art pages for working papers and ticket designs according to customer specifications.
+ Prepare print-ready files, including ticket backs and support layers, ensuring high-quality production output.
+ Convert and optimize files into various formats (e.g., PSD, BMP, GIF) for different applications, adhering to digital prepress standards.
**Quality Assurance:**
+ Review all projects to verify that required information is present and ensure compliance with manufacturing specifications.
+ Manually edit and refine bitmap files for quality and consistency.
+ Ensure artwork is press-ready and meets all technical requirements for the manufacturing process.
**Technical Knowledge:**
+ Maintain expert-level knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
+ Ensure familiarity with digital printing methods, page imposition, and print layouts.
+ Gain proficiency in tools like ESKO Automated Engineer and other relevant production software
**Qualifications**
**Experience Required** (years of experience, specific industry or previous job experience requirements)
+ 2-7 years of experience in graphic design, digital printing, prepress, or related fields, depending on level.
+ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop) is essential.
+ Knowledge of digital prepress operations, print layouts, and printing methods is preferred.
**Skills Required**
+ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, with a strong emphasis on Adobe Illustrator.
+ Competency in Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
+ Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow complex processes and procedures related to department operations.
+ Positive attitude, good written, and verbal communication skills.
**Preferred Education, Experience or Skills** (preferred degree(s), software, experience, equipment, etc)
+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
+ Knowledge of page imposition, digital printing methods, print layouts, and related print procedures is preferred.
+ Familiarity with press or printing operations is preferred.
+ Experience or ability to learn ESKO Automated Engineer

_At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $33,800- $85,176. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable._
