Summary
Responsible to drive multi-channel creative output on behalf of a dedicated book of business, ensuring brand consistency across commerce, retail, and digital throughout the consumer journey. Requires a strong focus on inspiring, nurturing, and managing a team of creative contributors including copywriters, designers, external agencies, and content creators to produce innovative, compelling, cohesive messaging and visuals while acting as the primary guardian of Gallo brand identities. This role also collaborates with business stakeholders and Client Partnership lead(s) to stimulate consumer engagement and support marketing goals by developing compelling brand experiences. Through skilled creative direction, demonstrated business acumen, and effective resource management, the Sr. Creative Manager, Brand Stewardship plays a crucial role shaping Gallo brands to enable a competitive edge in the market.
Core accountabilities of this position:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, advertising, communications, and/or journalism plus 9 years of experience in graphic design, copywriting, art direction and/or campaign development reflecting increasing levels or responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 13 years of experience in graphic design, copywriting, art direction and/or campaign development reflecting increasing levels of responsibility. Original portfolio that contains a collection of commercial work across a variety of industries/client organizations and demonstrates a range of output, skills, and creative experience. Equally strong copy and design aesthetic with 3 years of experience leading multi-functional creative teams producing campaign-level work across print, digital, video, and retail/experiential within a fast-based advertising and/or creative services environment. Experience with consumer brand strategy and marketing equities, brand integration and brand voice as well as messaging, design, and production principles across all forms of media; skilled in color theory, typography, and creating for digital and social platforms. Expertise developing and defining creative strategies, refining concepts from ideation through execution—leading teams to produce exceptional creative solutions in support of consumer, shopper, commerce, and online and in-person retail. Success collaborating with a cross-section of internal and external agency functions; ability to build open, trusting partnerships with clients and colleagues. Proven ability to partner effectively with leadership team colleagues to appropriately influence cross-functional team performance and departmental effectiveness. Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to successfully interact with and influence senior clients and executive decision makers. Experience contributing to business development initiatives and positively influencing growth objectives. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through. Ability to succeed under pressure, managing multiple concurrent projects while shifting priorities and responding to changing business conditions and corresponding needs. Strong interpersonal communication, meeting leadership, conflict-resolution, and relationshipbuilding skills. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft 365 productivity apps including Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.), Keynote, and cloudbased project management systems/platforms, e.g. Workfront, Basecamp, etc. Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree plus 8 years of experience in graphic design, fine arts, advertising, communications, and/or journalism reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, advertising, or communications plus 11 years of experience in graphic design, copywriting, art direction and/or campaign development reflecting increasing levels or responsibility. Five (5) years of experience leading experience leading multi-functional creative teams. Alcohol beverage industry creative experience. External agency experience driving creative strategies on behalf of assorted clients and global brands. Experience assessing business problems, collecting data, extracting insights, and drawing sound conclusions.

Compensation
Hiring Salary Range: $143,500 - $215,300/Year Actual compensation amount paid may be lower or higher to be determined by factors other than race and gender such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.Perks & Benefits
