Creative Hub Lead

6-month Fixed Term Contract

Location: Bristol (hybrid minimum 3 days a week in office)

We have a rare opportunity to join our in-house Creative Hub, within Aviva’s Customer & Marketing department. This role in 3 words: Leadership, Creativity, Innovation.

A bit about the job:

You will be responsible for driving the creative direction of our projects, leading a talented team of designers to deliver innovative and impactful creative that aligns with our brand and business objectives.

The Creative Hub is a dynamic team with a strong collaborative culture who work across all of the main product areas of Aviva. The wider team is made from multiple specialisms across strategy, conceptualisation, campaign management, design, copywriting, content creation and production.

The role is fast paced and multi-faceted, you'll be working closely with the Creative Director to drive campaigns and implement new technologies, increasing creative effectiveness and speed to market. You'll be at the heart of the creative process collaborating with the Studio Operations Lead ensuring the day-to-day needs of the business are met.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

Creative Direction:  Lead the creative delivery and visual execution of customer first campaigns, image banks and playbooks that enriches the overall customer experience and journey.

Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to understand business goals and translate them into compelling creative solutions. Execute creative strategies that elevate our brand and resonate with our target audience.

Team Leadership and development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary creative team. Build a collaborative, inspiring and high-performing environment where creativity thrives, and team members can widen their skill sets and improve their craft.

Efficiency: Implement new tools and tech to drive efficiencies, speed to market and consistency. Roll out production best practices, keeping up to date with different production methods and technologies.

Creative sign off - Brand and risk champion: Oversight of the Creative Hub and production agencies to ensure all creative outputs align with brand guidelines. Oversee adaptations across channels and product groups with a strong understanding of financial regulation and DEI principles.
